NEW TRAILER LIVERY LAUNCHED

Grocontinental has unveiled a new livery scheme which is to be rolled-out across its fleet of 56 tractor units and 120 trailers.

The new branding has been designed to link the company with its core customer base – the food industry. Trailers will feature large graphics depicting different types of food with the accompanying strapline – ‘Grocontinental – keeping the food industry on the move’.

Explaining the thinking behind the new livery, Joint Managing Director, Linda Grocott, said:

‘Because of the size of our fleet, we have a real presence both on the road and at customer premises.  Our trailers present a great opportunity for us to spell out what we do and who we work with as they travel throughout the UK and Europe.   Many people are aware of our name but not necessarily that we work with some of the biggest brands in the food industry.

‘The new livery looks both contemporary and clear in its message without moving too far away from the clean white trailers that our fleet is synonymous with.  We are looking forward to rolling out the new look across all our trailers.’

Grocontinental will celebrate its 70th anniversary next year and a specially-designed crest to mark the milestone will also be featured on the rear of the vehicles.
