Grocontinental Sponsors Rugby Festival
Grocontinental has provided a boost to its local rugby club in by sponsoring a mini rugby festival. Hosted by Whitchurch Rugby Club and known as the Grocontinental Mini Rugby Festival, the event attracted 50 junior teams from across Shropshire, Cheshire and north Wales.
Linda Grocott, joint managing director of Grocontinental, said:
'As a prominent local business, we are committed to supporting to events within our community.'
'A large proportion of our staff and their families are from the Whitchurch area, many of whom are connected to the rugby club, and we are therefore pleased to be able to support their efforts by sponsoring the festival.'
