EXPANSION PROGRAMME

Shropshire-based international third-party logistics provider, Grocontinental, is bucking the economic down-turn and forging ahead with new investment in both its warehousing capacity and its fleet of vehicles.
The company is investing £6 million in new trucks to upgrade its existing fleet of vehicles and the expansion of warehouse capacity by 17,000 pallets, with the construction of a new 80,000 sq ft temperature-controlled warehouse to accommodate both chilled and frozen products.
The £3 million investment in the new warehouse will cover construction, refrigeration and storage racking.
